Welcome
Thank you for visiting Whisky Doodle.
I like to doodle and I also like whisky and craft beer.
What could be better than spending some time with a well crafted drink with a pencil in hand?

Wiper and True Small Beer No. 7
This was a bit of a punt in the dark. To be honest I only picked this one up because it's a Bristolian brewery and I like to stay in touch with my roots. I didn't notice the ABV on this until I got it home and at only a mere 2.9% I wasn't expecting much. How wrong I was! This is clean and light but has a deliciously fruity nose - tropical fruits, pineapple and fruit pastille. To taste, it was bicuity with a gentle bitterness and with waves of apple and lemon reflecting the fruity nose. Really enjoyed this - will definitely be on the lookout for more Wiper and True Small Beers!
